Serving my Neighbor (In Cambodia)Darlin Rosses
I love my job as a nurse. I get to love my neighbor in the same way the good samaritan is described in Luke 10:25-37.
33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him.
Being accepted to join the Hope Worldwide medical brigade to Cambodia August 11-24th is a dream come true. I’ve always wanted to go to the “other side of the road” way over to Cambodia and I still can’t believe it! I’m looking forward to serving my neighbor and learning from them too. I will turn 40 on Aug 16, in Cambodia. What a wonderful present from the Lord..
36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”
37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.” Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”
